Mini amplifiers give you the portability of rehearsing wherever you need, when you would like. Whether you are in your school dorm, on the road or merely lounging in your home. The Fender Mini '57 Twin-Amp is a good tiny practice amp and can put out a pretty decent sound if you're realistic about what to expect.

This Fender Mini '57 Twin-Amp has all the fundamental requirements encased in a cool, vintage design for people that are always on a tight schedule or who do not have the benefit of playing at full volume.

- Power: One-watt
- 2" x 2" speakers
- Distortion/Overdrive
- 9V jack power adapter
- Headphone jack
- Tweed outer cover for a nice vintage look

Why this amplifier is ideal for you

- You travel a lot and would love to bring your guitar and your amp with you and need something light and straightforward to carry.
- You are just starting out on guitar and desire an amp to use within the comforts of your own room.
- You are a fan of everything vintage from the sound to the looks of this amp.

More positive feedback

This tiny package really captures the basis of having a practice amp with a stylish surrounding, to boot. The sound quality for a single watt practice amp is kind of good and is perfect to be used within your own room. The power adaptor included in the package is terribly helpful since you could fry the circuits of the amp if you plug it in on it's own. At the least you needn't get a fresh 9V adaptor for this one.

Think about another sort of amplifier if

- You want more diversifications in effects (since some practice amp do have a selection of effects built in).
- You would like this to be a substitute CD player (since you do not have a CD jack in this model).
- You want to practice the particular sound of your playing so that implies you want a more powerful amplifier to mimic the sound of being on stage.
- You want a practice amp that may go side by side with the whole band playing with you.
